We were delighted to attend the Eden Funding Fair on 22nd April 2026 at Penrith Rugby Club, hosted by Cumbria CVS.

With the sun shining and a fantastic turnout, it was a truly positive day filled with conversation, connection and inspiration. It was a pleasure to meet so many dedicated individuals and organisations, and to hear first-hand about the wide range of impactful projects taking place across our local communities.
The event brought together over 60 charities and CICs, all keen to explore funding opportunities and share their work. We were also pleased to catch up with fellow funders and partners, as well as one of our trustees, Chris, who stopped by to say hello.
Alongside the David Snowdon Trust, a strong network of organisations were present, including ACTion with Communities in Cumbria (ACT), Cumbria Community Foundation, Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership (CSEP), Cumbria Waste Management Environment Trust (CWMET), Cumbria Youth Alliance (CYA), Easyfundraising, Francis Scott Trust, Frieda Scott Trust, Hadfield Trust, the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (Westmorland and Furness), Lakes and Dales Co-op (part of Scotmid Co-op), Penrith Town Council, The National Lottery Community Fund, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Unity Trust Bank, and Westmorland and Furness Council’s Eden Community Development Team.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us – we really value these opportunities to connect, listen and support the incredible work happening across the region.
