In April 2022 The David Snowdon Trust provided a grant of £30,000 for kitchen developments at 4Eden.
The Grant has provided opportunities for 50+ children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, neurodiversity and physical disabilities to access and use the two newly refurbished kitchens. The kitchens are fitted with adjustable high and low sinks, work areas and cooking facilities. The height adjusting appliances allows young people to learn and gain confidence in using this equipment and encourages independence in many other areas of their lives.
Our young people now have the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment, work together as a team and support each other – whatever their age or disability – we are now able to enable more abilities.
